Abbiamo pensato di presentare i nostri nuovi modelli con un breve cenno storico del periodo a cui si ispirano; questo perché per comprendere il mobile classico è fondamentale conoscerne le influenze storiche e culturali. La nostra non è una pretesa di completezza, ma speriamo di suscitare la curiosità dei lettori con uno spunto mirato.
Tra il 1600 e linizio del 1700 si assiste ad un fitto intreccio di scambi artistici e culturali allinterno del panorama europeo. Questo ha notevolmente influenzato le scelte stilistiche delle più importanti committenze europee, nonché i fondamentali repertori di modelli che costituiscono un vero e proprio codice del gusto barocco: una spettacolare manifestazione dellartificio e del potere assoluto. Durante la seconda metà del Seicento lo stile del mobile subisce una dilatazione delle strutture: crescono i motivi decorativi, in particolare degli intagli. Ne è un esempio la nostra consolle: una fedele riproduzione di questo stile, la cui struttura è composta da rigogliose foglie di acanto, i cui ricchi dettagli riempiono lo spazio e la profondità, caratteristica tipica dellevoluzione dello stile barocco romano della seconda metà del Seicento.
We have decided to introduce our new models with a short historical signal of the period to which they are inspired; this because, in order to understand classic furniture, its important to know the historical and cultural influences. Ours is not a thoroughness pretension, but we hope to raise the curiosity of readers with an aimed cue.
Between the 1600 and beginning of the 1700 it happen an interlacing of artistic and cultural exchange in the European panorama. This has remarkably influenced the stylistic choices of the most important European contractors, and the principal directories of the models that constitute a real code of the baroque taste: a spectacular manifestation of art and absolute power. During the second half of the 1600s, the style of the piece of furniture endures an expansion of the structures: the decorations grow, especially carvings. Our consolle is an example: a faithful reproduction of this style, whose structure is composed by luxuriant leaves of acanthus, whose rich details fill the space and the depth, which is a typical characteristic of the evolution of roman baroque style of the second half the 1600s.
